Rabat (HT): Moroccan authorities have detained more than 100 migrants near the border with Ceuta amid concerns over attempts to enter the Spanish-controlled territory.
According to reports, at least 111 people, most of them from sub-Saharan Africa, were detained around the northern Moroccan town of Fnideq.
Security forces also used tear gas to disperse groups gathering near the border.
The latest arrests come amid increased security around Ceuta following attempts by migrants to cross into the Spanish enclave.
