Rabat (HT): Cameroon have won their first Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title after defeating Malawi 3-0 in the final in Morocco.
The Indomitable Lionesses produced a strong performance to end Malawi’s historic run in the competition and claim the continental title.
It was Cameroon’s first WAFCON final victory after previously reaching the final three times without winning the trophy.
Malawi had surprised many during the tournament by reaching their first WAFCON final.
